Literary book presentations scheduled in Buenos Aires province

Two literary presentations are scheduled in the Buenos Aires province. In Nueve de Julio, the municipality will host the presentation of ‘En la sangre’ by Delfina Labriola at the Salón Blanco. The book, published by Ediciones Hespérides, is an autobiographical work that blends testimony, poetic prose, and health narratives. It recounts Labriola’s experience as a medical resident who suffered septic shock from Neisseria meningitidis, resulting in a coma, dialysis, and the amputation of all four limbs.

In Dolores, the municipality will present the novel ‘Amigos son los amigos. Cuatro historias cruzadas por un crimen’ by journalist and writer Julio Giribaldi. The story follows four young people from different towns in Buenos Aires province whose lives intersect during the cultural and social shifts of 1990s Argentina. The work explores themes of police violence and social unrest characteristic of that decade.
