Literary congress and book fair events held in Argentina and Paraguay

The XIII National Congress of Literatures of Argentina is scheduled to begin on Wednesday, September 9, at the National University of Santiago del Estero (UNSE). Organized by the Faculty of Humanities, Social Sciences, and Health, the event aims to promote and federalize Argentine literature. The opening program features a conference by Martín Kohanen and various book presentations, including works on colonial utopias and the poetic work of Atahualpa Yupanqui.

In Paraguay, the 22nd edition of the Encarnación Book Fair continues at the Autonomous University of Encarnación (UNAE). The event offers free access and includes a diverse program of book presentations, workshops, and conferences. Highlights include a discussion on the lost books of Augusto Roa Bastos and various literary workshops led by regional and international authors.
