Literary events scheduled in Arden and Rønne

Several literary events are scheduled in Denmark. In Arden, author Jette Dige Rokos will present her new novel, ‘Som en havmåge’, at Kulturhuset on August 27. The book is a sequel to her debut, ‘Sådan én ræven har skidt’, and follows the character Edith as she navigates life and identity in North Jutland between 1970 and 1990.

Additionally, Rønne Library will host a live broadcast of a conversation with British author Zadie Smith on October 6. While Smith will not be physically present, the event will be transmitted directly from the Royal Library. Smith is a prominent figure in modern British literature, known for works such as ‘White Teeth’ and her recent essay collection, ‘Dead and Alive’.
