Literary festivals in Peagna and Gignese showcase new Italian works

The 45th edition of the Rassegna dei Libri di Liguria opened on 29 August in Peagna, organized by the Amici di Peagna association with municipal support. The exhibition displayed more than 180 recent Ligurian titles from the library’s collection of over 15,000 works. Among the selections, five books were shortlisted for the Anthia 2026 prize, including the novel “La signora del Neroli” by Chiara Ferraris. The award ceremony is scheduled for 3 September at the Carlo Vacca theatre.

In Gignese, the “Chiacchiere in Terrazza” literary series concluded on 7 August with journalist Alberto Cerruti presenting his memoir “Dal vostro inviato – Mezzo secolo in rosa con i grandi del calcio”. The book, published by Ultra Sport, is a winner of the 2026 Premio Selezione Bancarella Sport. The event featured former Serie A players and included a reception for attendees.
