Literary figures present new poetry and correspondence

An evening dedicated to letters and poetry featured presentations by several prominent literary figures. Michael Krüger, former head of Hanser Verlag, presented his new poetry collection, ‘Die Wiedereinführung der Sanduhr. Gedichte’, which reflects on nature and global crises such as the war in Ukraine.

Katharina Pektor presented ‘Sterne glänzend im angebissenen Apfel. Briefe 1979–2024’, a collection of correspondence between Peter Handke and Manfred Osten. The event included readings by Burgtheater actress Dörte Lyssewski and concluded with a panel discussion involving Krüger, Osten, and Pektor.
