Literary novel promotions scheduled in Zaječar and Vienna

Several literary events are scheduled to promote new and award-winning novels. In Zaječar, the Theater Museum will host the promotion of Dr. Željko Mojsilović’s first novel, ‘Sedmi svetionik – poslednje putovanje’. The book is described as a philosophical and spiritual narrative following a character named Marko through various lives and themes of love and loss. The event will include a discussion with the author and translator Ivana Živković.

In Vienna, the Croatian Center will present Mirko Ćurić’s novel, ‘Svirači čarobnih frula’. The historical novel, which has received the ‘Knez Trpimir’ and ‘Martin Nedić’ awards, explores the connection between Vienna and Đakovo through the life of composer Jakob Haibel. The presentation will feature musical performances by Tanja Ruždjak, Stipe Bilić, and Andrea Nikolić, performing works by Haibel, a contemporary of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
