Literary presentations held in Portugal

Two new literary works are being highlighted in Portugal. Anabela Mota Ribeiro will present her latest novel, “Na Casa da Minha Mãe”, at the Caminha Municipal Library on October 24. The novel, which marks her return to fiction, explores themes of loss, memory, and family ties through a narrative involving a daughter discovering notebooks that mirror her own grief.

In Silves, writer Ana Rita Gamas has released “A Mãe Não Vem com Manual – Adolescentes, Estrogénio e Outras Catástrofes Domésticas”. Published by 5 Livros, the book uses humor and sensitivity to address the challenges of motherhood and the complexities of adolescence and changing family dynamics.
