Literary presentations scheduled in La Plata and Posadas

Several literary events are scheduled in Argentina. In La Plata, the poetry anthology ‘Flores de nuestro jardín’ will be presented on October 31. The collection features nine young writers from the Gran La Plata region and was produced following the ‘Lara Tolosa Chaneton’ Sub-20 Poetry Contest organized by the artisanal publisher Entonces Ediciones.

The anthology project emphasizes manual production, with authors participating in the printing, assembly, and hand-stitching of each copy. The participating poets include Renata Banicevic, Laia Galestok, León Dias Mariani, Micaela Saldaño, Rafaela Grilli, Justina Mika Celi, Santino Di Filippo, Ema Fouillet, and Juan Nicolás Porterie.

In Posadas, journalist Emilio Juri will present his first book, ‘Reflefixiones’, on October 23 at the Tanta Tinta cultural bar. The work consists of short stories that blend fiction with reflection, touching upon themes of the pandemic, political shifts, and social contradictions. The presentation will also include a selection of Juri’s graphic humor vignettes regarding life in Misiones and Argentina.
