Literary updates: New works from Nikola Marinković and upcoming visit by Jo Nesbø

Several notable literary events are upcoming in Croatia. Croatian author Nikola Marinković has released a new novel titled ‘Štorija o Beljakovima’. The book is a family-social thriller following a journalist named Viktor as he investigates his father's disappearance, a journey that leads from his local environment to New York City.

Additionally, world-renowned Norwegian crime novelist Jo Nesbø is scheduled to visit Croatia this September. Following an appearance in Split on September 26, Nesbø will hold a promotion for his 14th Harry Hole novel, ‘Završni kadar’ (Final Cut), at Tvornica kulture in Zagreb on September 27. The new installment features the protagonist attempting to move away from his life in the police force while facing a new series of cinematic murders in Oslo.
