Literary workshops and author events held in Hagen and Stuttgart

Various literary and writing initiatives are being highlighted across Germany. In Hagen, the Stadtbücherei Hagen is celebrating the tenth cycle of its writing workshop for young authors. Funded by Schreibland NRW, the program has hosted over 200 participants, providing a dedicated space for children and adolescents to develop their writing skills.

In Stuttgart, the ‘Stuttgart schreibt’ program recently featured diverse literary activities. Events included a writing workshop titled ‘Alte Lieben’ and a ‘Poetic Pharmacy’ session at the Ostend-Buchhandlung, where visitors could receive personalized poems. Additionally, authors Nora Bossong and Simon Strauß participated in a discussion regarding contemporary crises of faith and social alienation, exploring themes of community, religion, and civic consciousness through their respective works.
