Lithuania aims to become Palantir technology hub for NATO
Lithuanian President Gitanas Nausėda met with Palantir Technologies co-founder and CEO Alex Karp in the United States to discuss the company's expansion in Lithuania. The discussions focused on defense and security cooperation, exploring Lithuania's potential to serve as a regional hub for Palantir for the Baltic states and NATO's eastern flank.
President Nausėda emphasized Lithuania's ambition to move beyond being a mere user of advanced technologies to becoming a location where such tools are created, tested, and applied to real defense needs. The meeting addressed expanding Palantir's engineering, product deployment, and business development capabilities within the country. Palantir has been operating in Lithuania since 2022 and currently serves clients across the Baltic region.
