Lithuania reports fuel price increases and security alerts

Fuel prices in Lithuania have seen an upward trend. According to data from the Lithuanian Energy Agency, the average price for A95 gasoline rose to approximately 1.99 euros per liter, while diesel reached 2.26 euros per liter as of October 20.

Security concerns have also been noted regarding critical infrastructure. Following reports of a potential arson attempt near a Starlink base station near Vilnius, security measures have been strengthened. Additionally, operations at Kaunas Airport were temporarily suspended on October 18 due to a suspected drone sighting in Lithuanian airspace.

Weather conditions are expected to be sunny and dry, with daytime temperatures reaching 12–13 degrees Celsius. Drivers are advised to be cautious of damp road surfaces and fallen leaves in forested areas.
