Lithuania to announce €148,000 in community project funding
The Environmental Projects Management Agency (APVA) will announce an additional call for community organization projects on November 3. The funding, totaling more than €148,000, is sourced from production fees paid by green energy producers for electricity supplied to the grid in 2025.
This marks the second call for community project funding this year. Of the €1.2 million in total production fees collected, €1 million is designated for community organizations, while the remainder is allocated to environmental farms. Following a summer call where €845,000 in support contracts were signed, this second round utilizes the remaining unused funds.
To qualify, community organizations must propose projects located within 15 km of a renewable energy plant. Applicants can use an interactive map on the APVA website to verify if their project location falls within the eligible zone and to determine the specific funding amount available from each individual power plant.
