Lithuanian athletes achieve recognition and championship preparations

Lithuanian athletes are making significant strides in both individual competition and public recognition. Discus thrower Mykolas Alekna has been named the most influential Lithuanian athlete for the second consecutive year, according to a survey by Delfi involving both sports experts and the general public. Other top-ranked athletes in the survey included Arvydas Sabonis, Virgilijus Alekna, and Jonas Valančiūnas.

In addition to these rankings, athlete Tadas Jefišovas is preparing for the World Championships. Having already secured European and World Championship titles, Jefišovas noted that his decade of experience has replaced much of his pre-competition anxiety with confidence and self-control.
