Lithuanian cities host summer festivals in Utena and Druskininkai

Lithuanian cities are hosting major summer celebrations. Utena will mark its 765th anniversary with a three-day festival from August 27 to 29. The event features a diverse program including cultural, sporting, gastronomic, and musical activities. The festivities will begin with a Youth Evening in the Utena City Garden, featuring discussions, music, and performances by artists such as BIELSKIS!.

Meanwhile, Druskininkai is hosting the traditional ‘Vasaros aidai’ (Summer Echoes) festival from August 21 to 23. The celebration includes a market, excursions, and educational activities spread across the resort. Musical highlights at the Druskoniai Amphitheatre include performances by Ieva Narkutė, Justinas Jarutis, and Aistė, as well as a concert by Andrius Mamontovas performing his ‘Best Songs’ program.
