Lithuanian cities Utena and Druskininkai host summer festivals

Lithuanian cities Utena and Druskininkai are hosting major summer festivals.

Utena will celebrate its 765th anniversary from August 27–29 with a three-day festival featuring culture, sports, gastronomy, and music. The festivities will begin with a Youth Evening at the Utena City Garden, including an organizational fair, discussions, and performances by artists such as BIELSKIS! and the group Skersgatvių vėjas.

Druskininkai will host its traditional Summer Echoes festival from August 21–23. The event includes a fair on Tourist Street and various musical performances at the Druskonis amphitheater, featuring artists such as Ieva Narkutė, Justinas Jarutis, Aistė, and Andrius Mamontovas. The program also offers family-oriented activities, creative workshops, and historical excursions through the resort.
