Lithuanian Communications Regulator and tech firms promote digital and home security

The Communications Regulatory Service (RRT) has released four short podcast lessons that teach residents of Kaišiadorys, Elektrėnai and nearby towns how to recognise and avoid online scams, disinformation, privacy risks on social media and basic AI hazards. The free, 5‑minute episodes are intended to improve everyday digital safety.

At the same time, growing interest in smart‑home technology is encouraging households to adopt video‑surveillance cameras, smart locks, motion sensors and other devices that can detect intrusions, water leaks or smoke and allow remote monitoring and control, thereby increasing overall home protection.
