Lithuanian Culture Days held in Wrocław
Lithuanian Culture Days are being held in Wrocław, featuring a series of lectures, meetings, and guided walks designed to showcase Lithuanian art, music, literature, and traditions.
The program includes a lecture on the work of Mikalojus Konstantinas Čiurlionis, exploring the intersection of his painting and musical compositions. Another session focuses on the historical architecture of Vilnius, specifically its sacred buildings ranging from Gothic to Classicism.
Additional activities include a guided walk through the Romantic Route at the Pan Tadeusz Museum, which examines Adam Mickiewicz’s poetic vision of 19th-century Polish nobility. The event also features a lecture on traditional Lithuanian folk music, including dainos and unique polyphonic songs known as sutartinės, as well as traditional instruments like the kanklės.
