Lithuanian Economy Minister visits Klaipėda and Gargždai

Edvinas Grikšas, the Minister of Economy and Innovation, led a delegation to the Klaipėda and Gargždai regions to discuss business development and regional infrastructure. During a meeting with small business representatives in Gargždai, discussions focused on advertising, the use of secondary raw materials, export opportunities, financing, and guarantees.

Local entrepreneurs emphasized that while the ‘Spiečius’ cooperation center provides valuable training and mentorship, growing businesses require more direct mediation between companies and the ministry to navigate various state-offered support measures.

The visit also included meetings with Klaipėda district and city municipal leaders to address regional development, investments, and tourism. Additionally, the delegation visited Dirvupiai Aerodrome to discuss its future operations, as well as companies such as VMG Technics and Neo Group.
