In the Alytus district, local authorities have prepared for the upcoming year with significant budget allocations and school renovations. Local officials noted improvements in facilities, including new sports grounds and robotics spaces. Additionally, pedagogical community events were held to foster collaboration among educators before the term begins.

However, some educators and school directors have expressed frustration regarding last-minute adjustments to the educational curriculum. Critics argue that these late changes to subjects like biology and mathematics force teachers to revise materials without additional compensation, describing the frequent shifts as a burden on the teaching profession.
