Lithuanian football leagues conclude with major results

The 34th round of the Lithuanian TOPLYGA has determined the first group of teams to represent the country in European competitions next season: Kauno Žalgiris, Vilniaus Žalgiris, Marijampolės Sūduva, and Vilniaus rajono TransINVEST. Kauno Žalgiris has advanced to the main stage of the Conference League, despite recent losses to Brighton and Bergen Brann. Upcoming matches for the club include fixtures against Lugano and Riga FC.

In the TOPLYGA standings, Vilniaus Žalgiris faces pressure to secure gold or silver as Sūduva and TransINVEST remain competitive. Head coach Andrius Skerla noted that dropped points against mid-table teams have impacted the club's position.

The LMFA First League season also concluded in Širvintos. MFA Žalgiris B–MRU secured the championship title after overcoming a three-goal deficit in a decisive series, defeating FK Gintra B in extra time. FK Žalgiris B earned the bronze medal following a 4:0 victory over Utenos Utenis. Austėja Petkevičiūtė finished as the second-highest scorer of the season with 24 goals.
