Lithuanian handball clubs Dragūnas and Šviesa are preparing for upcoming domestic and international competitions. Dragūnas, the recent winners of the Lithuanian Handball Federation Super Cup, will compete in the EHF European Cup starting from the second stage in October. The club has also integrated three players from their doubles team into the main squad for the 2026–2027 season.
Šviesa, the Lithuanian vice-champions, will face Turkish debutants GSK Istanbul in the EHF European Cup. Following a significant roster overhaul, the Vilnius-based team is led by new head coach Karolis Bliuvas and features several international players from Ukraine, Norway, and Canada, alongside young talent from the Lithuanian U18 national team.
