Lithuanian industrial production shows volatility in early 2024
Lithuanian industrial production experienced significant volatility in the first half of the year. While some reports highlighted a 7.7 percent year-on-year growth in June compared to the previous year, more detailed data suggests a different trend.
According to Eurostat figures, industrial production grew by 4.9 percent during the first half of the year. This follows a notable decline in May, where production dropped by 3 percent, marking one of the largest monthly decreases in the European Union. In June, production rebounded with a 2.1 percent increase.
