Lithuanian Ministry of National Defence spends 45,000 euros on staff event

The Lithuanian Ministry of National Defence (KAM) hosted a community meeting for approximately 200 employees on September 10. The final cost of the event was 47,559 euros, of which 44,994 euros were covered by ministry funds.

Expenses included 12,000 euros for catering, 7,865 euros for a performance by Donatas Montvydas, 5,600 euros for event organization, and 5,100 euros for venue rental. Other costs included musical performances, an illusionist, technical equipment, and lighting. Employees also paid a 15-euro fee each to receive two alcoholic beverages. The Ministry stated the event aimed to strengthen employee ties and cooperation.
