Lithuanian regional culture and religious vocational studies

In Lithuania, regional cultural and religious life continues to shape personal and community identities. Simona Jundulaitė, the cultural activities manager at Plungė Public Library and a contemporary sculpture master, has returned to her roots in Plungė after studying in Vilnius and France. She describes how her connection to the Plokštinė forests and her upbringing influenced her artistic perspective.

Meanwhile, in Telšiai, the Telšiai Priest Seminary has welcomed nine young men for its propedeutic course. These students, aged 18 to 26, come from various Lithuanian dioceses, including Vilnius, Kaunas, Panevėžys, Šiauliai, and Telšiai. The group possesses diverse backgrounds, including experience in the military and previous studies in history and geography, as they undergo a period of reflection to discern their potential vocation to the priesthood.
