Lithuanian regional sports: Football tournament and traditional combat league conclude

In Raseiniai, the ‘Rudens taurė 2026’ 6x6 football tournament concluded with the Kelmė-based team ‘Kražantė’ securing the championship title. After a competitive final against ‘Helanas’, which ended 8:4, the Kelmė team claimed the trophy.

In a separate cultural sporting development, the first season of ‘ETNOLYGA’ has concluded in Lithuania. The initiative, organized by the Lithuanian Ethnosport Committee, aims to reintegrate traditional Lithuanian rhythmic combat into the lives of young people through school-based competition.

The season culminated in a final in Juodšiliai on April 2, involving over 60 students aged 14 to 19 from six different gymnasiums. Organizers noted that more than half of the participants had little to no prior experience with the traditional sport before the league began.
