Lito Sousa discharged, readies prostate cancer surgery

Brazilian aviation influencer Lito Sousa, known for his YouTube channel "Aviões e Músicas" with over three million subscribers, announced publicly that he has been diagnosed with prostate cancer. The cancer is an intermediate‑aggressiveness adenocarcinoma of the prostate.

He was hospitalized at Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein in São Paulo for a central nervous system inflammation and related examinations. After eight days he received discharge, though he still experiences limited movement in his left arm. Sousa told followers, “I’m not 100 %, but the first stage is completed,” and said he will soon undergo surgical treatment for the tumor.

Using his platform, he pledged to raise awareness about prostate‑cancer screening and encourage regular health check‑ups among his audience.
