Litoa Inc. launches custom smartphone case vending machine in Shibuya

Litoa Inc. has installed ‘CASE FACTORY’, an automated vending machine capable of creating custom smartphone cases, at the ShinQs section of Shibuya Hikarie in Tokyo. The machine allows users to produce personalized cases in approximately five minutes using photos from their camera rolls, AI-generated illustrations, or collages.

The installation, located on the 5th floor, is scheduled from October 1 to October 28, 2026. The service supports various models, including iPhone 12 through 17 series and Google Pixel 8a, 9a, and 10. To appeal to tourists and locals, the Shibuya Hikarie location offers exclusive stickers, such as the ‘Toyoko Hachiko’ character from Tokyu Department Store and various Japanese-themed motifs.

Litoa Inc. operates the machine on a completely cashless basis and is currently seeking additional locations for deployment, such as tourist destinations, hotels, and commercial facilities, offering a zero-initial-cost model for partners.
