Littelfuse targets India growth amid rising electrical infrastructure demand

Littelfuse, Inc. is expanding its focus on the Indian market, specifically targeting high-growth sectors such as data centers, grid and utility infrastructure, and aerospace and defense. The company aims to address the increasing complexity of electrical architectures, including high-voltage DC data-center designs and mission-critical aviation and space systems.

In India, the company identifies rising AI workloads and higher power densities in data centers as key drivers for demand in power distribution, circuit protection, and thermal management. This strategic focus follows a period of global momentum, with second-quarter 2026 net sales reaching US$738.8 million, representing a 20.4% year-over-year increase. During this period, industrial sales saw a significant rise of 52.5%, while electronics sales grew by 21.1%.
