Little Big Town releases new studio album ‘It’s A Dying Art’

Country music group Little Big Town has released their 12th studio album, ‘It’s A Dying Art,’ via MCA Nashville. Marking their 25th anniversary, the 13-track collection explores themes of grief, gratitude, and human connection.

Co-produced by Karen Fairchild and Gena Johnson, the album features collaborations with Jason Isbell, Kelsea Ballerini, and Ashley Monroe. The band members—Karen Fairchild, Kimberly Schlapman, Phillip Sweet, and Jimi Westbrook—noted a renewed sense of creative freedom during the recording process, aiming to capture lived experiences and vocal harmonies without strict genre boundaries.

The release follows the debut of the single ‘Hey There Sunshine’ and is supported by the upcoming ‘For the Art of It’ tour, which begins September 24 in St. Petersburg, Florida.
