Little Footprints Preschool holds nationwide community outreach day

Little Footprints Preschool, operated by Babilou Family Singapore, held its fifth annual Babilou Cares community outreach day on 17 July 2026. The event involved all 47 of the preschool network’s islandwide centres in Singapore.

Moving away from traditional fundraising, the 2026 campaign focused on direct action across four pillars: elderly welfare, food security, environmental sustainability, and community kindness. This approach aims to integrate the group’s Sustainable Education framework into practical learning for children.

Key activities included intergenerational engagement, where 16 centres collaborated with partners such as TOUCH Community Services, NTUC Health, and REACH Community Services to support seniors through storytelling, singing, and dementia-friendly cognitive activities. Additionally, donation drives at the Punggol centres collected over 30kg of food and 20kg of textiles to be redistributed to lower-income families and community shops through partners like Food from the Heart and Cloop.
