Little Italy Days returns to Pittsburgh's Bloomfield neighborhood

The 24th annual Little Italy Days festival returns to Liberty Avenue in the Bloomfield neighborhood of Pittsburgh from August 13 through August 16. The four-day event features over 200 vendors offering Italian staples such as pasta, pizza, and desserts, alongside live entertainment across three stages and community activities like a bocce tournament and a Miss Little Italy pageant.

While the festival draws more than 100,000 visitors, local business owners report a mixed impact. Some merchants noted that while the event provides significant brand exposure to new customers, it can lead to decreased revenue during the festival weekend. Challenges cited by business owners include extreme congestion and a lack of available parking, which often causes regular patrons to avoid the area entirely.
