Little Lights Childcare Center opens in Fresno

The Lighthouse Recovery Center has officially opened the Little Lights Childcare Center in downtown Fresno, California. The new facility, located on Fulton Street, is designed to support women undergoing treatment for drug and alcohol addiction by allowing them to live with their children.

Founder Vikki Luna stated that the center was established to address a critical gap in services, specifically the lack of childcare and space required to support mothers and their families during the recovery process. The center will provide a safe, family-like environment where children can receive care and nurturing while their mothers access recovery, education, therapy, and reentry services.

The expansion aims to help families remain together during treatment, providing a stable environment to prevent children from being separated from their parents due to a lack of support services.
