Little Miss Sunshine Cast Says Film Was ‘Most Dangerous Movie Ever Made’

Actors Greg Kinnear, Toni Collette, Paul Dano and Abigail Breslin reflected on the 20th anniversary of the 2006 road‑trip comedy *Little Miss Sunshine* at the Sundance Film Festival. They recalled the loose safety protocols during production, noting that Kinnear personally drove the beat‑up van used for on‑screen scenes.

Kinnear admitted he ran a red light and ignored a stop to keep co‑star Alan Arkin from leaving the vehicle, describing the shoot as “the most dangerous movie ever made.” The cast highlighted that modern productions now use towing rigs or platform cars for such sequences, emphasizing that no children were injured during filming.
