LittleHorse updates Saddle Command Center with agent controls
LittleHorse Enterprises LLC has announced the release of version 1.3 of its Saddle Command Center, an orchestration platform designed to coordinate artificial intelligence agents and conventional software. The update introduces no-code agent deployment, prebuilt task workers, a JavaScript software development kit, and a free serverless trial.
The company utilizes a “Business-as-Code” approach, which converts business processes into version-controlled, testable software represented as a graph. This method aims to reduce fragmentation caused by companies spreading processes across various SaaS applications, manual procedures, and spreadsheets.
Saddle Command Center 1.3 includes an Apache Kafka-compatible streaming engine, connectors for webhooks and data sources, and a runtime for prebuilt agents. The platform employs a “decision worker pattern” where agents receive read-only access to tools to handle tasks requiring judgment, while deterministic workflow code validates outputs to maintain control.
