Igreja Batista da Pituba celebrates 29 years of mission in Ichu

The Igreja Batista da Pituba is celebrating 29 years of mission in Ichu with a special program of activities. The event, held over the weekend of October 10 and 11, follows the theme ‘Together to bear fruit – We were called to go out, sent to serve and reach lives.’

The scheduled programming includes lectures for women and adolescents focusing on mental health, women's health, communication, and abuse prevention, led by psychologists and physiotherapists. The celebration also features dedicated activities for children, including theater, art workshops, and community meals.

In a broader religious context, various liturgical reflections are being observed for the 28th Sunday in Ordinary Time. These reflections center on biblical readings from Isaiah and the Gospel of Matthew, specifically focusing on the parable of the wedding feast and the concept of the Kingdom of Heaven.
