Litvínov hockey club undergoes ownership change and restructuring

The Litvínov hockey club has undergone a significant restructuring following a disastrous season that saw the team finish in last place and forced into a relegation playoff. The club's previous management, including Pavel Hynek, has departed, and the team has been sold to a group led by Jiří Šlégr.

Despite the sale, Orlen will remain the general partner, committing 120 million CZK to Litvínov hockey over the next three years. The new management and coaching staff, led by Robert Reichel, aim to rebuild the team's character and cohesion. While the roster has seen changes with players like David Kämpf joining, the primary focus remains on fostering unity within the club following its recent sporting struggles.
