LIUC University celebrates 35 years of growth and innovation

LIUC – Università Cattaneo, located in Castellanza, celebrated its 35th anniversary, marking its evolution from a visionary project to an institution with over 15,000 graduates and 2,400 current students.

During the celebrations, Rector Anna Gervasoni highlighted the university’s commitment to its original mission of providing a campus-style education with strong ties to business and internationalization. The institution has seen a 20% increase in enrollments for the current academic year and maintains 151 international partnership agreements.

Regional Councilor Alessandro Fermi attended the event, noting the importance of establishing a major educational hub in the province rather than Milan. He also announced a project for a new laboratory focused on artificial intelligence, data, and technological transfer, for which the Lombardy Region is expected to provide 2 million euros of a 4 million euro budget. President Roberto Grassi emphasized the need for the university to adapt to digital and environmental transitions.
