LIULIU Malatang opens Ebisu restaurant in Tokyo

The Chinese‑style hot‑pot chain LIULIU‑Malatang opened its second Tokyo outlet, the LIULIU‑Malatang Ebisu store, on 6 August 2026. The restaurant is located at 1‑4‑16 Ebisu‑minami, Shibuya‑ku, a one‑minute walk from the west exit of JR Ebisu Station.

To mark the launch, a six‑day promotion offers a 66 % discount on the total bill. A second discount period runs from 29 August to 31 August for customers who present a receipt from 9 August to 18 August.

The brand, developed in Osaka, tailors its traditionally spicy malatang broth for Japanese tastes, using a creamy, balanced soup co‑created with a company that has a 250‑year history. Diners can choose from 66 ingredients and adjust the level of spiciness and numbness. The Ebisu outlet follows the chain’s first Tokyo location in Kanda, with plans to expand further across the metropolitan area.
