LIV Golf refunds subscribers as it drops “Any Shot, Any Time” streaming feature

LIV Golf announced that it will discontinue its premium “Any Shot, Any Time” livestream service beginning with the Korea event at Asiad Country Club. The decision, described by the league as “strategic,” follows the Public Investment Fund of Saudi Arabia pulling back funding, creating payment issues with broadcast vendors.

The league is arranging refunds for fans who purchased the $59.99 annual subscription or the $8.99 per‑event passes. CEO Scott O’Neil said the move is part of broader cost‑cutting measures as LIV Golf seeks new investors and aims to raise more than $250 million to keep operating.

The feature, which offered real‑time multi‑player streams and AI‑enhanced graphics, had earned a Sports Emmy nomination and a 2025 Sports Technology Award, but financial pressures forced its removal after the PIF’s $5 billion investment was scaled back.
