IYO SKY Wins 2026 WWE Queen of the Ring, Secures SummerSlam Title Shot

At WWE Night of Champions in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, IYO SKY defeated reigning Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan to become the 2026 Queen of the Ring. After a back‑and‑forth battle that saw Morgan target SKY’s injured knee, SKY landed a Spanish Fly followed by an Over the Moonsault to claim the victory.

The win guarantees SKY a Women’s World Championship match against Morgan at SummerSlam in August. The event also featured a Women’s United States Title match where Tiffany Stratton retained against Jade Cargill, with Charlotte Flair intervening to thwart Cargill’s attempt to use the belt as a weapon. Rhea Ripley later posted a congratulatory tweet for SKY’s triumph.

The Night of Champions show also included a brief segment with Danhausen, whose “curse” comment was dismissed by Morgan before the match began.
