Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio have appeared in Lucha Libre AAA, highlighting ongoing cross-promotional ties between AAA and WWE. During the final night of Verano de Escándalo, Morgan made her debut in the promotion, appearing in an interview segment alongside AAA Mega Champion Dominik Mysterio.

Mysterio is scheduled to defend his AAA Mega Championship against El Grande Americano at Triplemanía 34, which will take place over two nights in September at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Nevada and Arena CDMX in Mexico City.
