Liv Morgan presents custom championship belt to director Takashi Miike

At the Tokyo premiere for the suspense action film ‘Bad Lieutenant: Tokyo’, professional wrestler and actress Liv Morgan presented a custom championship belt to director Takashi Miike. Morgan, who also performs in the WWE, stated the belt was a personalized gift to express her gratitude to Miike, featuring his name and the film title.

The film, scheduled for release on October 23, is a reimagining of Abel Ferrara’s 1992 film ‘Bad Lieutenant’. Set in Tokyo, the story follows a corrupt detective, played by Shun Oguri, who becomes entangled in a series of gruesome murders and a missing persons case involving the daughter of a future president.

Other cast members in attendance included Shotaro Mamiya, Shuhei Nomura, Nanase Nishino, and Takanori Iwata. During the event, actor Hiroshi Tachi commented on the film’s unique nature, describing it as a new kind of Japanese cinema produced in collaboration with Hollywood studio NEON.
