Liv Up expands to Northeast Brazil with new João Pessoa dark store

Brazilian foodtech Liv Up has opened a new dark store in João Pessoa, Paraíba, as part of a strategic expansion into the Northeast region. The company aims to establish four distribution centers in the area to meet growing demand for nutritious, ready-to-eat meals.

Liv Up’s broader growth plan includes implementing over 70 new logistical units across the South, Southeast, Midwest, and Northeast regions of Brazil, with potential future operations in the North. The company intends to invest R$ 15 million by 2027 and expects to create more than 100 direct jobs. This expansion is part of a larger goal to reach a revenue of R$ 270 million by 2026.

Upcoming expansions are also planned for Niterói, Rio de Janeiro, and Blumenau, Santa Catarina. The decentralized logistics structure is designed to shorten delivery times, offer flexible receiving windows, and reduce the environmental impact of distribution routes.
