LIVA releases official music video for ‘O Roma Nobilis’

Canadian symphonic metal band LIVA has released the official music video for ‘O Roma Nobilis’. The track, featured on the album Ecce Mundus via WORMHOLEDEATH, reworks a centuries-old Latin hymn through a blend of orchestral arrangements, operatic vocals, and heavy guitars.

The song is written in praise of Rome, utilizing sacred text that invokes the blood of martyrs and the purity of white lilies while offering prayers to Saints Peter and Paul. The accompanying music video was filmed by Pierre L’Espérance to enhance the song’s ceremonial and theatrical atmosphere.

The recording lineup for Ecce Mundus includes Nadine Guertin on soprano vocals, Pier Carlo Liva on death and tenor vocals, guitars, and electronics, Martin Tremblay on bass, and Claude Lacroix on drums. Philippe Leblanc has since joined the group as the new drummer.
