Livadic Industrial Park groundbreaking held in Podujeva

The groundbreaking ceremony for the Livadic Industrial Park was held in Podujeva, marking a new investment project aimed at boosting domestic production and economic growth in Kosovo.

Prime Minister Albin Kurti stated that the park is designed to strengthen the 'Made in Kosova' brand, helping the country replace imports with local goods and increase exports to international and European markets. The project is intended to serve local businesses looking to expand, members of the diaspora, and foreign investors.

Minister of Industry, Entrepreneurship, and Trade Mimoza Kusari-Lila noted that the project is vital for reducing the trade deficit. She highlighted that Kosovo's economy has doubled since 2019, with service exports reaching 4 billion euros. The specific investment for the Livadic Industrial Park is valued at 3.1 million euros.
