LiveRamp expands AI partnerships and launches agentic AI pilots for commerce media

LiveRamp CEO Scott Howe highlighted the firm’s growing role in AI‑driven advertising at Cannes, noting a new measurement partnership with OpenAI and a planned $2.2 billion acquisition by Publicis Groupe. He said, “All of the sudden, we’re the geeky, dorky kid who became popular,” as the company also unveiled a collaboration with Adobe that feeds shopper data into Adobe’s GenStudio for more granular creative optimization.

The company is further addressing a workflow gap in commerce media networks with three agentic‑AI pilot programs. LiveRamp describes the challenge as turning rich first‑party transaction data into repeatable, scalable advertiser outcomes, stating, “the network knows things about its consumers that no one else can replicate.” The pilots target food‑delivery, big‑box retail, and specialty retail sectors, using AI to automate fragmented workflows, reduce manual analysis, and accelerate campaign results.

Together, the partnerships and pilots aim to extend LiveRamp’s data‑activation capabilities, enhance advertiser ROI, and prepare the business for broader international growth following the Publicis deal.
