Livermore teenager identified as passenger killed in Monterey crash
Jerrod Chapman-Marshall, a 19-year-old from Livermore and 2024 graduate of Granada High School, has been identified as the passenger killed in a recent vehicle crash in Monterey. The incident occurred while the group was visiting the coast for Monterey Car Week.
The crash is described as an apparent drunk-driving accident. As a result of the incident, Chapman-Marshall’s friend is currently facing felony manslaughter charges along with other serious legal accusations.
Chapman-Marshall, a student at Las Positas College, was remembered by his family as a caring individual who was recently beginning a new job in the distribution industry. His mother, Bonnie Marshall, described him as a kind and ambitious young man who had been planning for his future adulthood.
