Liverpool attempted to sign Khvicha Kvaratskhelia

Liverpool made significant efforts to sign Georgian winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia from Napoli in early 2025, according to transfer reporter Fabrizio Romano. Despite aggressive interest from the Premier League side, the player ultimately chose to join Paris Saint-Germain.

Romano noted that while Liverpool and Chelsea were both keen on the transfer, Kvaratskhelia was swayed by the ‘very ambitious project’ presented by PSG. Since joining the French club, the 25-year-old has won two Champions League titles, notably participating in matches where PSG eliminated Liverpool.
