Liverpool defeats LASK 6-3 in Champions League victory

Liverpool secured a 6-3 victory against LASK in the UEFA Champions League, highlighted by a hat-trick from Bradley Barcola. This performance marked a significant turnaround for Barcola, who had previously struggled to meet high expectations following his transfer. Other contributors to the scoreline included Ronald Araújo, Jeremie Frimpong, and Lewis Koumas.

In terms of squad updates, midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai is expected to return to the starting lineup for Liverpool’s upcoming Premier League match against Brentford following a hamstring injury. Manager Andoni Iraola also provided updates on Alexander Isak and Cody Gakpo, both of whom face late fitness tests. Meanwhile, Giovanni Leoni’s rehabilitation is expected to be delayed by at least a month.

The victory keeps Liverpool unbeaten in the Champions League group stage with six points from two matches. However, the club remains in ninth place in the Premier League following a recent loss to Manchester City.
